Dave's comments:

Thunder Alley was directed by Richard Rush who made a number of movies including Freebie and the Bean in 1974 with James Caan and Alan Arkin. Thunder Alley starred Fabian and Annette Funicello where, after causing the death of a fellow racer, a stock-car driver turns to staging stunts and crashes at a cheap sideshow.
