When I was a kid, I never built the Pie Wagon cuz it wasn't cool or menacing or sinister enough for my 10 year old tastes. And the decals sucked. Well as an adult, I find the Pie Wagon a great design and went for it.

I did a straight build-up with the exception of the paint job. When I was in a hot rod phase I was intrigued with the suede look...the alternative to the high glossy finishes that are common in hot rods. So I went for my favorite hot rod finish. If you want a finish that glows and sparkles without the shine try this:

1. base red gloss
2. two coats orange pearl
3. one light coat of turn signal amber
4. flat enamel spray can
