Jawbreaker

Built by: Paul Canney in Avon Lake, Ohio

A mishmash of pieces parts from a variety of kits all fused together. This was originally released in 1976, but I'd never built one before, so when it was re-released in 2004, I picked up a couple out of curiosity.

What I discovered in the box was a few parts adapted to the chassis that was originally the MPC Carl Casper / Ramcharger dragsters.

I was tempted to use the kits Zoomie headers, but then, it wouldn't be correct to the original. The body has serious QC issues and the kit valve covers were horribly incorrect for spark plug spacing, so I swapped them for a set from a Revell funny car.

The paint is Cobra Colors Lamborghini Verde Miura lacquer. (If I ever have a half a million to blow on a car, it probably won't be this color). All in all, it's a weird one, that's for sure.
